The rent can be paid by cheque, debit card, credit card and pre-authorized debit. In case of payment by credit card, an extra fee may apply (the fee is waived for the first payment). Rent is due on the first day of every month. Cheques must be written to the order of: 9214-2496 Quebec Inc.
Personal damages are not covered under the Leasing Agreement. You are required to carry tenant insurance to cover your personal belongings in case of such an event. Tenant insurance is fairly inexpensive and can usually be obtained by the same provider as your or the guarantor's home insurance.
You can move in between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on the first day of your lease or from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm thereafter. Move-in day will be problem-free at Varcity515 as you will be moving into a furnished apartment. You will simply need to arrive, pick up your keys and keycards and drop your bags in your room.
You have to leave your apartment and clear all of your personal belongings by noon on the last day of your lease. You are requested to leave your key and keycard at the front desk before departure.

Varcity515 is located at 1430 City Councillors, just north of the Sainte-Catherine Street corner. We are between two metro stops: McGill (on McGill College Street) and Place des Arts (on Maisonneuve). Varcity515 is in the heart of downtown, located near all the major universities and in the heart of Sainte-Catherine Street/Quartier des Spectacles shopping and entertainment district.
Yes, just tell us what are your preferences in the roommatching form. Because Varcity515 features a variety of apartments with 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms, we will endeavor to accommodate your requests. Please note that we offer both same-sex and coed apartments.
Varcity515 cannot assist you in obtaining a visa. We recommend that you contact your university first and refer to the federal immigration and/or provincial immigration offices concerning the official process. You can also contact a law firm that specializes in immigration. Some residents of Varcity515 have been advised by Gomberg Dalfen or Campbell Cohen. If you wish to deal with a law firm, we recommend that you use discernment and obtain references from friends first.
Yes, provided there is still space available. Changing apartments once is free within the first month of your lease. Otherwise, there is a fee applicable for room change.
Guests are permitted at all times. They must sign in at front desk.
We accommodate students from all universities and from all around the world! Tenants must have a Student ID card and be between 18 and 30 years old.
Each room and apartment is fully cleaned before you move in. Optionally, we offer cleaning services with our housekeeping staff ($). Please check with a staff member for more information.
Varcity515 provides free maintenance, from light bulbs to appliance repairs. If maintenance is required, please contact your on-site manager to complete a work order, or submit a maintenance request by email.
Apartments and bedrooms include all the necessary furniture and equipment as well as all useful household items such as kitchenware, LCD TV, DVD player, etc. You just need to bring your luggage and linens! Linens can even be bought on site if you wish to travel light!
