Varcity515 provides an innovative student living program that is intentionally designed to promote student success and development.
Our Philosophy – Study hard, live well
Varcity515 understands the essential role accommodation plays in the student experience. Our mission is to provide a hassle-free, secure and all-inclusive living environment so the student can focus on what matters.
Types of Accommodation
The accommodation we offer is a bedroom in a shared furnished apartment. Furniture and amenities include all the necessary items for your bedroom, living room and kitchen, as well as additional household items such as utensils, LCD TV, DVD player, etc.
Each suite has 1 or 2 bathrooms and an extra storage room.
Each floor of the building also includes an easily accessible laundry room and conveniently located garbage chute.
Security and Safety
Our buildings are secure by design and incorporate more than 100 CCTV cameras as well as controlled access systems. The building is staffed 24/7 and additional security is present on week-ends.
We require every student to supply us with details of a Guarantor who will be added to the leasing agreement. By signing an individual lease for your student, you are only responsible for the rent of your student. You have no liability for the rent of the other apartment residents. This is a significant advantage over the joint and several leases used by other landlords where each parent is liable for the rent of all residents in the unit.
The Leasing Process
Leasing a room at Varcity515 is an easy 5 step process done online through our web site.
The Leasing Agreement
The Leasing Agreement that the Student and Guarantor are entering into is a fixed term contract.
Once the leasing agreement has been signed the student and guarantor are obligated to pay all the rent for the entire period of the leasing. The student or the guarantor cannot end the leasing agreement early.
Room Selection and Matching
We offer roommate matching in the leasing process. All students are asked to complete a personal profile in order to better assist us in matching them with residents compatible with their interests, hobbies and academic studies. In case of dissatisfaction, the student can fill out a room change request form. We will then do our best to change the room assignment depending on availability.
What to Bring
Each bedroom includes all the furniture a student will need. The kitchens include microwaves, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and more. The student will need to bring the rest: linen, pillows, duvets and towels should all be on the list. Don't forget crucial items such as your iPod, game console and the entire content of your wardrobe!
At Varcity515, we're always on duty. Our building is staffed 24/7 with an on-site professional staff. Each property's staff is experienced and skilled in addressing all of your student's needs. Our local general manager is supported by leasing, business and maintenance personnel. While many local properties have absentee landlords and substandard maintenance programs, at Varcity515 our staff is proactive and responsive to any maintenance concerns your student may have. All work orders are processed within 24 hours while comfort and life safety work orders are given immediate attention.
We are pleased to offer a preferential rate for friends and family of students at the Hotel Gault.
